The apartment is huge and beautiful. We were in Malta for a very specific reason and the apartment placed us ideally for our activities. If I went to Malta again, would I would pick this area? Probably not.
However, the apartment has everything you could possibly want and nothing was too much trouble for our hosts.
I want to draw attention to the small print. Asking for a cash deposit of €150 feels unnecessary. Maybe as the area is not salubrious, they have had their fingers burnt in the past.
It is also a burden on those of us for who the Euro is not our currency. Now I’m stuck with €150 that won’t be converted back to my benefit.
